Hotel Partnership Manager-Hotelbeds
(based in Jakarta)
 
 
Job Scope
 
The Hotel Partnership Manager position is responsible for ensuring that Hotelbeds Accommodation and Destination Services has the optimum contracted commercial conditions in place in order to establish the company as a market leader in the incoming leisure sector. As a Hotel Partnership Manager for our Key Product in the region he will also be responsible for acquiring, maintaining and building preferential relationships & contracts.
 
Summary of Tasks
 
*       Manage and develop the trade accounts with a portfolio of between 200-250 accommodation suppliers.
*       Build and develop the new businesses in the destination  
*       Negotiate the commercial conditions of the new contracts and Preferential partner agreements including Best Price Guarantee, Exclusives, Free Sales, Release Cero, Security Allotment, Contracts by Markets to ensure competitiveness, Regular and Dynamic Rates, All Room Categories, All Food Regimes, Overrides, Marketing Contributions and Promotions.
*       Promote the multi-platform advertising solutions available to suppliers such as product placement and positioning, e-banners, brochures and graphic banners.
*       Oversee the contracting process work-flow such as research and vetting, contract procurement, loading the commercial conditions into the in-house database “Atlasâ€�, development of the trade account and after care support.
*       Develop the business relationship with the accommodation suppliers and internal departments both in-destination and with the head office.
*       Research the profile of suppliers such as the historical account performance, level of risk, customer service standards, benefits to the competitors of Hotelbeds etc so as to identify potential sales opportunities.
*       Lead, support and help to train the personnel in the strategic direction of the department/sector.
*       Ensure that product targets are achieved, service level standards are met and that suppliers are in compliance with their contractual obligations such as “sure2careâ€� and NDA´s.
*       Represent the interests of the company a work-shops, seminars, travel trade shows and site inspections.
*       Provide on-site technical and logistical support to suppliers on the correct management of the supplier website (Hotelbeds extranet site).
*       Prepare internal departmental reports, attend HOD meetings and evaluate the performance of the Contracting personnel through the use of a PDU system and daily objectives.
*       Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
 
Job Requirement
·         At least Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ relevant experience in travel industry
·         Fluency in English essential, preferably another Asian language
·         Excellent negotiation and communication skills
·         Self motivated, highly responsible and able to work independently
·         Demonstrated record of success in a goal-oriented, highly accountable sales environment
·         Dynamic, flexible, hard-working and highly organized
·         Experience working in Hotel or Tour Operator reservations / sales department a plus
