Sheraton Lampung Hotel invites young, dynamic and qualified professionals to apply for the Executive Sous Chef position. The Executive Sous Chef will oversee the culinary operations of the hotel to ensure that the department is always motivated to exceed expectations. He/she will ensure that the product is of highest possible quality with regards to preparations, presentations and menu selection. The Executive Sous Chef will be in charge of all kitchens in the absence of the Executive Chef.
Qualifications & Attributes:
· Fluent in English written and spoken.
· Indonesian/local candidates only.
· At least 1 year experience in similar capacity.
· Strong experience in Western cuisine from international 4/5 star resort/hotel.
· Knowledgeable of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
· Graduated from a recognised Culinary/Hospitality School.
· Proven track record of cost control including food, equipments, labour and wastage to meet the food quality goals and the hotel's financial goals.
· Strong administration, organizational skills and problem-solving.
· Able to manage multiple priorities effectively and changes with flexibility, timeliness and efficiency.
· Strong leadership, assertive, able to organize, detail oriented, self driven with strong initiative and enjoys working in a team environment.
· Pro-active, enthusiastic, outgoing personality, excellent attitude, energetic, self starter, independent, responsible and confident.
· Looking for new challenges in a 5 star hotel.
· Has the ability to make sound decisions.
· Excellent communications & interaction skills with both internal and external customers and computer skills.
