POSITION : HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Place of Assignment:
Semarang – Central Java
Description of the Work:
Under the general guidance and supervision of the General Manager, the Human Resources
Manager will plan, manage, control, coordinate and participate in human resources activities in
areas of recruitment, staff benefits, salary, industrial relations as well as recommending,
implementing, formulating and executing hotel policies including Accor policies, procedures,
rules, regulations and program for staff.
The incumbent will exercise a degree of initiative, independent judgment and resolve workplace
issues. However, judgment is expected to be applied to problem solving, decision making and
ensure that Accor values is hold in high esteem. This role also requires high level
communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. An understanding and hands-on experience of human resources issue.
2. Experience and sound knowledge in recruitment and resourcing, performance management
and learning and development.
3. To evaluate, interpret and implement HR policies and procedures and when appropriate
identify and or recommend areas for improvement.
4. To manage any industrial relation issues and ensures the compliance with the prevailing
labor laws and regulations and company regulations. The HR Manager is required to have
knowledge in labor laws and regulations.
5. To manage compensation and benefits and when appropriate recommend area for
improvement to the General Manager.
6. Undertake administrative work relating to HR monthly report, staff attendance record
including performance appraisal process.
7. Other duties of the position may include:
Managing the internal and/or within group movement of staff whilst best utilizing
individual skills.
Advise the General Manager or Executives Assistant Managers or HODs on any
sensitive personnel matters.
Undertake other duties as directed by the General Manager.
External Relations:
1. To build and maintain positive interaction and good relationship with individuals outside the
hotel including but not limited to applicants, government officials and members of the local
community.
2. To build good external relations with local Manpower office or institutions and organizations
3. To build good relations with Accor Corporate Office and all HRMs in Accor Indonesia
network.
Compentencies, Skills and Experience Required:
Formal education in Human Resources Management or related social discipline (Law,
Psychology) or equivalent professional qualifications.
Human Resources Management experience in a medium to large organisation or hospitality
industry is highly desirable.
Good standard of written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Demonstrated capacity to work independently, less supervision and meet deadlines.
Knowledge and understanding of Indonesia labor laws and regulations.
Have the capability to exemplifies personal drive and integrity including communicates with
influence.
Good administration and documentation skills.
